“Spit it out already.” I laughed.

“Let me kiss you, my queen. Please?” His ears turned red, but his eyes twinkled in determination.

“Just kiss me already!” I whined impatiently.

“No. Why would I kiss you? Just because we’re mates, it doesn’t mean we can go around kissing each other, right?”

Aaron completely stepped back, leaving me frustrated in the cold. He was proudly smirking at the state he left me in.
